With the use of an USS an additional line power supply can be attained for S0 (ISDN 2 /BRI) Interfaces
Frequently it happens that the switch does not supply enough power or even no power which may be required on the S0 (ISDN 2 / BRI) Interfaces.
With the use of an USS the existing S0 (ISDN 2 / BRI) Interfaces can be supplied with 2 Watts of power.

Supply of S0 (BRI) -Interface Line Power
With the USS you have the possibility to supply S0-Interfaces with remote line power or at a later date to increase line power to already existing S0 -Interfaces. The power output of 2 watts will then be attainable.
