NovaTec Network Multiplexer (NNM)

The NovaTec Network Multiplexer (NNM) enables up to 60 B channels of primary rate interfaces (PRI/S2M) to be split between several basic and primary rate BRI (ISDN2) U or PRI (ISDN30) interfaces.

The configuration program also allows both dialled and fixed connections to be made.

The TNM offers extensive configuration possibilities including:

• allocating the B channels to all the interfaces listed above;

• preventing internal connections to be made with external connections;

• initiating the configuration either locally or by remote control;

• setting restrictions on the number of B channels on the respective BRI or U interfaces.

A direct connection in to a Cisco Call Manager allowing for the connection of non VoIP (ISDN) end devices such as ISDN Cards or Fax Servers to VoIP Networks.

The individual Systems NNM S5+, NNM S6 and NNM S20 differentiate in the number of modules and interfaces that can be realised. All systems have the following functions and applications:

• IP-connection for Service, Management, Configuration and Diagnosis

• NMS and NovaTec-Billing can be utilised by all Systems

• Easy to install and easy to operate

• Modular concept for individual requirements and specifications

• Upgradeable to other networks and protocols, e.g. VoIP
