Application of GSM Gateways for the connection of Headquarters and Sub-divisions

The problem

Large companies with Sub-divisions are paying a very high cost for what should be Internal communications between each other, but not only these costs but also to their employees in the field on their mobile telephones.

These "internal" connections can cause very high costs, and can be a significant part of a companies telecommunication costs
With landline to mobile calls incurring some of the highest telecommunications costs for a company with employees calling Mobile Phones to guarantee a call success rate when trying to reach personnel is higher than on fixed net telephones.
Sub-divisions may also be internationally located, so high international call rates apply to what should be an "internal conversation".

Our solution

By the use of our NovaTec-Mobile Gateway and the NovaTec-Internet Pathfinder a direct VoIP connection is made to each of the Sub-divisions from the Headquarters and a direct connection to the GSM Network can be realised, making all landline to mobile calls direct mobile - mobile "on net" calls.

Connections to the mobile phones of the staff are routed automatically by the NMG into the concerned GSM-network
Also the calls from the mobile phones of the staff to a fixed network phone of the company are charged as an network internal connection as the gateway can also accept incoming GSM Calls.
Informations for several employees or defined groups can be sent as a normal e-mail , the NMG converts them into a text message (SMS) and transmits them to the staff´s mobile phone.
Calls between Headquarters and Sub divisions will always be free.

Calls to Mobile phones will always be a ON Net call (e.g. Vodafone-Vodafone)
This can be an add on to any installed switch

Applications such as SMS – Email – SMS conversion, an email wrote with a regular Email programme will be sent to a user on his mobile phone, he can then answer the message and the recipient will receive this SMS message as an email.

Advantages:

Calls between Headquarters/Sub divisions and European Division France will always be free, or any other international destinations with a VoIP connection
Calls to a French Mobile phone from an Australian Mobile will not result in an International GSM Call but always 2 local ON Net calls (e.g. Australian Vodafone-Vodafone call and French Orange to Orange call ) which can mean a saving of up to 85% on international GSM Calls.
This can be an add on to any installed switch; bring VoIP to an existing switch that has no VoIP capabilities without the need to change any end equipments such as Phones or Faxes.
