Remote power of Repeaters to a 2 Wire ISDN U-Interface

The USP is the ideal solution for providing the Remote Power supply to a 2 Wire U-ISDN Interface.

For the bridging of large distances frequently PT Repeater are used. It can happen that there are no means available for a power supply at the installation location of the Repeaters.

With the USP connected, the 2-Wire U₀ -Interface will be provided with phantom power feeding. Thus the PT Repeater can be power supplied over the same conductor from a central location.
