TransNova® Network Multiplexer S6
The TransNova®
Network Multiplexer TNM S6 enables up to 60 B-channels of two PRI
interfaces to be split (non-blocking) to other ISDN interfaces.
Due to its modular conception theTransNova®
Network Multiplexer can be individually assembled according to your local environment.
The following ISDN interfaces are available:
- Up
to 30 BRI interfaces (through-put rate 1, powered or non-powered) for
the connection of ISDN end devices respectively ISDN trunk lines.
- Up to 48 BRI interfaces (through-put rate 0,5) unless all connections are needed simultaneously.
- Up
to 16 U interfaces (through-put rate 1) in order to connect ISDN end
devices with U interfaces or alternatively to bridge long distances via
copper wire. The latter requires the additional use of the PT-US for the connection of ISDN end devices with BRI interface via up to 8 km or the use of PT-Repeaters for distances of up to 24 km.
- Up to 2 PRI interfaces, e. g. to transfer B channels not being used to a linked PABX.
Already
existing BRI interfaces can be converted to U interfaces in order to
link ISDN end devices via long distances with copper wire. This
requires the use of the PTI: detailed information can be found
here.The TransNova
® Network Multiplexer can also be converted to a
GSM-Gateway or a
VoIP-Gateway if GSM and/or IP interfaces are needed.
