Email to SMS and SMS to Email for GSM Gateway

The function e-mail-to-SMS is a feature of our TransNova^® Mobile Gateways .

This feature enables the sending of e-mails to mobile phones, hereby e-mails are sent to the recipient as text message (SMS).

The functionality:

The e-mail is written by the sender in the usual way, with the usual tools.

A special e-mail adress is assigned to the recipient´s mobile phone number.
By sending the mail to this address (e. g. employee_xy@TMG.de) the TransNova Gateway automatically converts this to a message for the assigned mobile phone number.
The recipient receives this mail as a text message (SMS) on his mobile phone.

This conversion also works vice versa :

The sender puts a text message into his mobile phone.
Via the TransNova Gateway the message is send to the recipient as a normal e-mail on his usual mail-account.

SMS to e-mail 2

Mails can be sent not only to one recipient, but also to a defined group.

Therefore a mailing list is created, in which defined mobile phone numbers are assigned to this group.

By sending a mail to this group (e. g. Marketing@TMG.de) all assigned mobile phone numbers receive this mail as text message (SMS).
