A significant part of the telecommunications costs of an enterprise results mostly from international connections, e.g. with calls to customers or business partners abroad.
In many cases hereby the often selected alternative Voice over IP (VoIP) for different reasons does not come into question, e.g. if data and faxes must be sent, and/or capability characteristics such as video conferences are to be used, or regulatory issues prevent the use of this method.
The realization of high quality, and simultaneous lowering of telephone costs of up to 75 % is possible however also in this case.
In the conventional way your calls are directly routed via the fixed network provider, national as international, by way of connection to the network carrier of its fixed mains connection.
From there the routing takes place then to the selected destination number. The costs depends thereby on the appropriate tariffs of the respective network carrier and/or providers.
With TIME, The TransNova® International Media Exchange from NovaTec, you use for your enterprise, a simple and transparent infrastructure, with which your international calls are routed over a server. This server automatically calls the calling party back and at the same time dials the destination party and routes both legs of the call over the fixed rate offered by the NovaTec International Tariffs, or in some cases if the service is being operated with least cost routing options.
The Telecommunications infrastructure of your company does not change and is used as normal. The extension of your system is with the TransNova Router being installed between the Switch and the Local telecom providers with either a PRI E1 connection or BRI S0 connection
Another main feature of the TIME infrastructure are the from NovaTec operated servers at different locations in the world such as London or Frankfurt.
Outgoing international calls from your switch are now not routed over the normal fixed network provider to the destination, but depending on the destination number via the NovaTec servers in these various lands.
The NovaTec Server now connects via two individual calls:
- Call back to the calling party
- Call to the destination number.
The call back and also the other setup structure of the call take place unnoticed by the calling party and without time delay, so that no change is necessary in the telephoning behaviour.
For both legs of the call there is only one call cost.
The costs of all calls are invoiced on a monthly
basis.
