Range extension over a double copper wire up to 24 km

With the use of a PT-Repeater the range of the U interface can be extended up to 8 km.

With the combination of two in series connected PT-Repeaters the maximum range of the U interface can be extended up to 24 km.

Also using a combination of the PT-SU and PT-US the distance that a BRI can be extended is 24 km over a double copper wire.

The PT-Repeater has two U interfaces. One of these is in the Slave mode and acts like a Network terminator (NT), and the second U interface is comfigured in the Master mode and acts as a Line terminator (LT).

The PT-Repeater can be remote powered either through the NT or the LT inteface, but can also be locally powered with the use of the mains power supply unit which can be ordered with the units.
